  • Drive towards Gurez valley via Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. Since Gurez is located in the Himalayas, the drive towards it would be an incredible experience. The beauty of nature is a treat to the eyes.
  • Today you will be visiting the nearby town, Dawar. The local people of Dawar are known as “Dards”. They live in beautiful log wood houses. You can communicate with them and observe their local lives. You can also visit the archaeological sites of the town.
  • You will also be visiting one of the beautiful pyramid-shaped mountain peaks, Habba Khatoon peak. This peak is named after famous Kashmiri poetess Habba Khatoon. The majestic spring flowing from the peak will catch your attention. The water of the spring is crystal clear and has many medicinal properties. Do not forget to click pictures of the lucid water gushing out of the picturesque spring.
  • The journey towards Srinagar will be full of beautiful scenic views. You may take a halt at the Izmarg village. Explore the green meadows by walking around and clicking pictures.

  • If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple, now you can go by ropeway from Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairon temple.
